This policy explains what information ScanSeats (scanseats.com), operated by Mentis Vision LLC ("we", "us"), handles and the choices you have.

The short version

• You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to use ScanSeats.
• Your favorites and display preferences stay in your own browser.
• Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, and we use privacy-focused visitor statistics.
• Google shows ads on ScanSeats and may use cookies to do so. You can control ad personalization.

Information stored in your browser

ScanSeats saves your favorite places, which panels you have open, and whether you have dismissed the welcome suggestions in your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us, and can be removed by clearing your browser's site data. The choices you make in a search are kept in the page address so you can bookmark or share them.

Hosting, security, and statistics

ScanSeats runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and request times to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page performance; it does not use cookies to track you across sites. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Advertising

ScanSeats uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are used, through Google's consent message. You can change your choice at any time from that message's link on the page.

Your searches and favorites are never sent to advertisers, and ads never affect route rankings.

If you write to hello@scanseats.com, we use your email address and message only to reply and to improve ScanSeats, and we keep them only as long as needed for that.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers named above as needed to run the site, or when required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to object to certain uses. Children

ScanSeats is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
